Eleni was born and raised on the Jersey Shore where she started theater as "Third Rose from the Right" in Alice in Wonderland at age 6.
She attended Red Bank Regional High School's Visual and Performing Arts program as a drama major. Throughout those fun-filled years of high school musicals, she performed at three local theaters, wrote music for a children's show, and began a theater program at her elementary school, producing and directing four summers of musicals. This program was integrated into the curriculum and still exists today.
After high school, she went from USC (taking a semester at The National Theater Institute at the O'Neill Theater Center in CT) to Fordham College at Lincoln Center, where she earned her B.A. in Performance. Two days after graduation, she landed one of the leads in the Off-Broadway musical "A Stoop On Orchard Street" and has been working actor ever since averaging 3-4 projects a year.
Eleni co-wrote a musical version of Lysistrata which has been workshopped at such places as NYTW and has had a successful off-off-Broadway run which Marian Seldes saw, pronouncing it "a triumph!"
Besides acting, Eleni works as a costume designer and wardrobe supervisor; is an avid world traveler, and works as a teacher in after school programs that bring theater arts into schools in NYC. In addition, she is a founder of The Wayfinder Experience, Inc., a theater-based summer camp for young people and an arts-in-education program that teaches co-operative play, storytelling, improvisation, and team building, where she continues to serve as a teacher. Today, more than seven years later, the company is still thriving and has touched the lives of hundreds of young people.
